Kosofe is a Local Government Area of Lagos State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Kosofe. It is located at the Northern part of Lagos State. It is bounded by (3) other Local Governments namely: Ikeja, Ikorodu and Somolu. It also shares a boundary with Ogun State. the people were noted for massive trade in vegetables, fruits, maize, cassava and fish.
