Kaduna is a state in Northern Nigeria. The state capital is also named Kaduna. Kaduna was the 8th largest city in Nigeria as of 2006. It is a North-Central State. The state economy is reliant on agriculture, especially cotton and groundnut production. The state is located at the Northern part of Nigeria’s high plains. The vegetation cover is Sudan Savannah type, characterized by scattered short trees, shrubs and grasses.
